Large-scale coastal monitoring and shoreline modeling to better inform coastal management

Coastal management requires solid knowledge of both past behavior and future predictions. This seminar will summarize how satellite remote sensing is used to map large scale shoreline change and develop and test regional scale shoreline models for the New South Wales, Australian coastline, including new and on-going developments on generating simplified wave climates for future projections.
